LG WebOS Developer Mode Extender

You can obtain the developer mode session token by logging into your TV via SSH and executing this command:

cat /var/luna/preferences/devmode_enabled

Building

Run make all. You will need Docker for that.

Usage

Run the binary with following arguments:

devmode-extender_{arch} --token={devmode session token}

Not very useful, huh? That's because it is supposed to run periodically. Cron example:

# Runs every day at 03:00
0 3 * * * /root/devmode-extender --token=token

I was thinking about how to automatically extend developer mode and this gave me all information I needed. Like you made a cronjob to execute your binary, I just curl the ResetDevModeSession URL with my token directly from the crontab on my raspberry. Would be easier if the important info would also be present in your readme (get time by this URL, reset by that URL).

Anyways, thanks a lot for your work :)
