Add an NImate node to the scene to begin - its variables should be self-explanatory.

Requires Delicode NI mate. Use default settings with skeleton tracking enabled.

Sensor Compatibility

Some sensors have fewer tracking points than normal. If the rig inside the NI mate viewport looks mangled, try enabling Rig > Simple:

Rig Compatibility

All animated bones must face forward relative to the armature.

In Blender, you can ensure this is the case by displaying bone axes and checking if the Z axes are facing forward:

If any of them aren't facing forward, select all bones in Edit mode and do Armature > Bone Roll > Recalculate Roll > Global +/- X/Y/Z Axis. You'll most likely be using Global -Y Axis if the armature faces forward relative to the world.

    Test Setup: Asus Xtion Sensor Delicode v2.14 Godot v3.2.3 (Arch_Linux)

    I've got Delicode running on my windows machine sending the OSC data to my linux rig. I've tested the setup with the Blender plugin on linux and tracking works as expected, but the tracking window for the Ni-Mate plugin in godot is mangled -- looks like the root node is stuck??     Any help would be appreciated! Also, by any chance might you release a simple demo project to accompany the plugin? I think it would be a big help with testing and helping people familiarize themselves with the plugin.

    I am confuse how to use this file ... is it an "addon" to Blender? If so I don't see any "python" files to install into Blender. I understand this is a "rig" (armature" setup already that works with Ni Mate addon in armature. That way, one can use this rig for Blender animation ..

    I haven't actually used this addon for Godot 3.x, but have embarked on a medium/large project that would be helped by having some Kinnect v2 support.

    Just wondering if there are plans to move this over to godot 4 once the codebase has settled a bit over there?

    Hey, First of all congratulation for your awesome project, its a huge project for Godot. but I want to talk about something more accurate like Motion Capture with IMU sensors in GODOT. cause its obvious that you have some real ability in Godot scripting, if you interested in IMU motion capture for Godot , I think we can co operate together just for your attention I got to say all of the electronic parts of project are done, and all the moving data is present in Godot , the only thing that is remaining is relating the sensor data to individual body parts (bones) , and that's it.
