boofunpack
Cocos2d-x texture unpacker, primarily for Cookie Run: OvenBreak and Cookie Run for Kakao/LINE (though it likely works for other .plist format cocos2d-x games too).
Installation
Grab an executable for your OS on the Releases page. (64-bit builds only for now, sorry for the inconvenience. I'm sure most people will just be using the 64-bit Windows version, though...)
Usage
Get a copy of the files of the game you're trying to rip sprites from, find the spritesheet you want and drag the file (either .png or .plist) onto the executable or pass it as an option on the command-line. If all goes well, it should unpack that spritesheet in the same folder as the program. You can disable auto-cropping to be able to animate the frames or disable naming-files-by-animation in config.ini (which will automatically be created if it doesn't exist).
Building
- Install Go if you haven't already
- Clone the repository and install the dependencies, usually with
go get ./... - Build it with
go build(I usually also add the argument-ldflags="-s -w"for smaller executables) or run it withgo run main.go
Known Issues
- JSON files are not supported. Cookie Run doesn't use them, but games that do will need that support to be added.
- Kakao/LINE cocos2d files don't yet support
group_by_animation, but they will soon!!!!!! Probably.
