Badges
A simple API written in Go that creates badges in SVG format, based on the requested route. Those graphics can be used to style README.md
files, or to add tags to webpages.
Get Badges
Open the webpage badges.guelly.at and add a title, a description and a color (optional) to the route.
Example: https://badges.guelly.at/Hello/World/fe8000
Use in Markdown
You can add the URL directly as an image in Markdown.

Run the Program
- Clone the project from GitHub into your GoPath and make sure that all dependencies are installed
- Change the port in the
.env
file to your prefered port - Run the project by entering
make run
in the directory of the project - To build the project, change all variables in the
Makefile
to fit your needs, then you can runmake build
- When the binary is built, you can build a docker image by running
docker build .
in the terminal
